The finalists will be announced at Lancashire’s largest business awards competition

Organized by the North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce and billed as “the one they all want to win”; The BIBAs have been putting companies through their paces since the competition began in January.

Over 498 applications were submitted by 271 companies, with 108 applicants reaching the interview.

They have been facing the jury in all 20 categories since the beginning of June, the interviews ended yesterday.

Society and libel specialist joins Lancashire law firm

Babs Murphy, Executive Director of the Chamber, said: “The number and quality of entries this year has been overwhelming.

“Competition was fierce in every category and there are some very deserving winners among the finalists we are announcing today.

“Our specially trained judges have put in a really tough job putting in around 800 hours of judging and I want to thank them for the dedication and professionalism they all showed throughout the process.
