Johnny Depp is perhaps the most talked about celebrity right now, so it’s only natural to wonder where the actor spends his time when he’s not on screen.
Not surprisingly, the Pirates of the Caribbean and Sweeney Todd star has a real estate portfolio that’s almost as diverse as his filmography — from an entire French village to a piece of property in the Hollywood Hills, of course.
Johnny Depp picked up the keys to some the world’s best houses in recent years, but these 5 wineries are among his most notable.

The actor’s private island in the Bahamas consists of 45 hectares of rugged, unspoilt beauty in the North Atlantic.
Johnny Depp reportedly first caught a glimpse of the island while filming Pirates of the Caribbean — before buying the land for $3.6 million in 2004. Little Hall’s Pond Cay features a palm-fringed lagoon, private homes, and six beaches, two of which are named after the actor’s children, Lily-Rose and Jack.

The apartments, located in the art deco Eastern Columbia Building in downtown Los Angeles, showcased the actor’s unique style through his eclectic style paint ideas and decor pieces – from a gallery wall in the kitchen to a cobalt blue scheme in the bedroom.

Johnny Depp’s French Village is among the actor’s most famous purchases, and with good reason. The property, recently listed for $55 million, has everything one could wish for in a typical Provencal village, including six guest houses (one of which was formerly a church) and a named restaurant Chez Marceline.

Its coveted location, just 17 miles from glamorous St Tropez, meant the village was frequented by various celebrities during Mr Depp’s stay, including Leonardo DiCaprio and his former girlfriend Kate Moss.

4. Hollywood Hills Grounds
It seems that Johnny Depp has a habit of buying properties next to each other. As well as his five LA penthouses, the actor bought five neighboring homes for $19million (£13.5million) to build a large property in the Hollywood Hills – which remains his home to this day. Aerial views suggest the property is a maze of spectacular villas garden ideas – complete with tropical greenery and swimming pools.

Rumors suggest that Mr. Depp planned to construct tunnels between the various properties, covering an area of around 7,430 square feet.

The property features two barns, a seven bedroom house and a guest house with a gourmet kitchen and caretaker’s quarters. Reports suggest that Mr. Depp originally sold the house in 2001; Four years later, however, he repurchased the land for his mother, who previously lived in the 6,000-foot main house.
