Spokesperson Emily Clay said: “Join us at the 28th Garden Show at Stansted Park, the perfect event to find everything you need to grow your garden and refresh your home.

“It’s a great opportunity to explore what’s on your doorstep; Find new talent, designers and artisans; Browse affordable and handpicked businesses showcasing the latest in specialty plants, garden and home accessories, art, design, sculpture, fashion and gifts. and then indulge your taste buds with tantalizing food and wine. It’s also a great opportunity to learn about gardening and get top tips from gardening experts to solve those frustrating problems: they know what they’re doing. As always, the plant specialists bring their knowledge and a wealth of beautiful plants with them. It’s a great opportunity to get your garden in shape and with the brilliant advice of the show’s environmentalists Jules and Lance you can be assured that every garden will grow into healthy and happy places and any garden ailments will be resolved in the most friendly manner possible . They will also specifically provide the solution to any pruning confusion and have a daily Walk & Talk about the hidden life of trees. We are delighted to be reintroducing the daily Walk & Talk with herbalist Steve Taylor (choice of herbs for the garden and how to get the best from them) again this year and Ben Cross from Crosslands Nursery will also be back on Sunday, to praise, in his usual energetic way, the British cut flower industry… British Flowers Rock!

“The charity chosen by the show is CancerWise – – aiming to be a supportive, compassionate community for people living with cancer and those who care for them, based in Chichester and serving all, who care, support and information provides cancer.

“Through counseling, complementary therapies or emotional support, they offer support for the mental, physical, spiritual and emotional health of people through and beyond cancer. They urgently need support at the moment and are organizing a huge raffle and fun guessing games. We’ll be welcoming back Ray Hunt with his Whacky Garden, designed with his unique flair for the benefit of CancerWise.

“But it’s not all about gardening, with ongoing and varied craft demonstrations and the bustling Studio Shops showcasing talented designers ready to share their expertise: jewelry design, watercolor painting, photography, weaving, felt making, blacksmithing, pottery, plus delicious food and tasting wines and much more. There’s plenty to keep your kids and the whole family busy: watch children play in the beautiful parklands, ride the merry-go-round at the toddlers’ amusement park, get face painting, explore the arboretum, or watch soar through the skies like Huxley’s Birds of Prey.”; 01243 538456.
