Paul O’Grady is devastated after being forced to bring foster dog Tulip back to the canine home.
The ITV star was fascinated by the white American bulldog while filming his show Paul O’Grady for the Love of Dogs: What Happened Next.
The self-confessed pooch lover took Tulip under his wing and gave her a new place to live.
But he soon realized the heartbreaking fact that it wasn’t appropriate for her to stay.
When Tulip arrived at Paul’s, she appeared to bark angrily at his other dog, which bothered the popular presenter.
Tulip’s unexpected outburst rocked his existing dog and she didn’t bark back, writes the Daily Star.
Seeing that things had become quite unsettled in his household, Paul had no choice but to return the pooch in hopes that it would soon be adopted or adopted by a loving family.
Reviewing Tulip’s story on the ITV show, he was delighted to find that someone had decided to adopt her and she was able to fit into their family and get along with their other dog.
Fans of Paul’s beloved pet show loved the recap program and took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
One person said: “Nice to have a chance to see how the dogs fared.”
Meanwhile, another fan shared a picture of their dog watching the show and wrote: “Vinnie loves watching #pogdogs and realizing how lucky he is. Bless these doggos.”
Presenter Paul made headlines when he returned to his Radio 2 show last week after being replaced by Rob Beckett for three months.
Paul posted a picture of himself at the Chelsea Flower Show on Instagram and captioned the photo, “No I don’t have a flower whipping booth, I’m at the Chelsea Flower Show,” the broadcaster wrote.
“I look like I was about to do something in this photo, but I can assure you I didn’t. I’ve always been asked by the press if I’m interested in gardening, but I had to come to terms and admit that when I go to a garden center, the plants will wilt with fear if I buy them.
“Great day, I caught up with some of my favorite people and couldn’t believe the stunning garden designs and the most beautiful flowers that only a magician could grow.”
When fans saw him back on their screens, they took the opportunity to greet him back on the radio.
One follower wrote: “You are amazing! Nice to have you back on radio!” One happy user said, while another added, “So glad you’re back on radio.”
