The home and garden experts have arrived at the Greyhound Retail Park, with a special canine guest attending the ‘official’ opening this Saturday (June 4, 10am-2pm).
The new 30,500 square foot Homebase store, previously occupied by John Lewis and Partners, will feature the best of its home and garden range in time for the anniversary holiday weekend, with the Dulux dog appearing this weekend.
The new store has created 29 jobs in the area, including five team members with over 40 years of experience at Homebase. Customers will find City & Guild accredited experts in the store ready to answer customers’ questions about decoration, garden, kitchen and bathroom design.
The company says three kitchen and bathroom experts, two color experts and two gardening experts will be on hand to help with projects large and small.
Room sets show customers how to achieve the look in their own home with QR codes that make it even easier with guides.
For those looking to redecorate, the store has a Dulux Paint Desk offering a paint mixing service and other popular brands including Homebase Paint, Country Living, House Beautiful, Crown, Farrow & Ball, House Beautiful, Country Living, ELLE Decoration and Craig & Rose.
Wall coverings, flooring and tiling options for every style and budget can be found at the store, along with the tools customers need to get the job done.
A variety of kitchen and bathstore bathroom designs will be on display, including exclusive House Beautiful and Country Living kitchens and House Beautiful bathroom furniture. High-quality electrical appliances from brands such as Bosch, Neff and Miele are also available on the market.
Homebase team members are on hand with expert advice that can turn clients’ design ideas into reality through free design consultations using Homebase’s state-of-the-art visualization software.
An additional garden center also offers all the patio furniture, outdoor decor, plants, pots, outdoor storage and garden maintenance customers need to transform their outdoor spaces.
Customers can also purchase pollinator-friendly seeds, which are known to provide much-needed food and habitat for wildlife. Bee and insect houses have been installed to encourage biodiversity and can be purchased from the shop.
Janette Rayson, Store Manager, said: “We’re excited to welcome the local community to Homebase, just in time for the Anniversary Bank Holiday weekend! If you are planning to throw a royally good party, we have come to help you get your house and garden ready.
“Our experts are here to help you find the products you’re looking for, with advice that’ll make your home and garden projects easier than ever.”
