Dealer of the Week: Beautify your home and yard with Dust Shack

WHEN the days are getting longer and temperatures are slowly but surely rising, there’s hardly a better time to brighten up your garden or home – and thanks to Bobbi Barnwell and her husband Scott, North Walesers are in luck.

Bobbi and Scott’s Dust Shack has thrived in Kinmel Bay since moving from Bolton 18 months ago and offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor furniture, home accessories and gifts.

With smaller items for national delivery and larger products for Denbighshire, Conwy and Flintshire, the couple pride themselves on creating unique, sustainable goods.

Bobbi said: “We combine our skills and experience in digital engineering, art and design, working in a variety of woods to design, manufacture and finish our furniture to the highest standards.

“By combining digital and traditional woodworking techniques, we aim to create bespoke and elegant furniture.

“We have a new range of garden furniture lacquered in a range of colors to enhance your garden, along with a selection of planters including painted and Welsh larch varieties.

“Because we design and manufacture all of our products, we are able to customize each item to our customers’ requirements, including designing and building bespoke items.

“Our range of home accessories includes a wide range of wooden furniture handles, as well as coat hooks, desk organisers, plant pot holders, laptop stands and display shelves.

“For gift ideas we have a selection of bespoke carved wooden plaques and children’s height scales, ideal for special occasions.”

A purchase from Dust Shack is not only a positive sign for your garden or home, but also for the environment – Bobbi and Scott only use responsibly sourced materials such as PEFC and FSC certified wood and non-toxic glues and paints.

They also source their materials from companies in North Wales where possible, not only to support the region’s economy but also to reduce their carbon footprint.

But for Bobbi, it’s the personal impact her products have on the lives of her customers that has made her business so rewarding.

She added: “We love seeing our customers’ bespoke designs come to life and how these items can make a huge difference in their lives.

“During lockdown with so many people working from home, it has been very fulfilling to help our clients create home office spaces that have allowed them to separate work and home and bring them into one have helped improve work-life balance.
