Split, Croatia
Croatia is located in Central/South East Europe and is approximately two hours and 30 minutes from the UK. It has a population of over four million.
Much of the tourism industry is concentrated along the Adriatic coast. Split, Dubrovnik, Zagreb and the island of Brač form one of the most important places for visitors to Croatia. The country attracts tourists from all over the world, but mainly tourists from Germany, Slovenia, Austria, Italy and Poland.
Croatia is the 23rd most popular tourist destination in the world and has unpolluted sea areas with nature reserves and 116 Blue Flag beaches.
Split is the second largest city in Croatia and the largest city in the Dalmatia region. It is located on the eastern shore of the Adriatic Sea and extends over a central peninsula and its surroundings.
There are excellent transport links by bus, boat, plane and train, making getting to and from the city easy.

School holiday dates vary from region to region. Most school holidays this year start on July 22nd and last approximately 63 days, our dates were chosen accordingly.

What are the latest travel regulations for Croatia?
Those who travel must fill out one Online registration form before arrival in Croatia. If you have been fully vaccinated within the last 270 days, you can enter Croatia without testing or quarantine. To enter Croatia you must provide proof that you are fully vaccinated.
Croatia accepts those of the United Kingdom Proof of recovery from COVID-19 and vaccination record and Proof of COVID-19 vaccination issued in the Crown Dependencies. Your last dose of vaccination must have been given at least 14 days prior to travel. Your NHS vaccination center appointment card does not serve as proof of vaccination and should not be used to prove your vaccination status.
If you are not fully vaccinated, you must provide proof of a negative PCR test (no more than 72 hours before entry) or a rapid antigen test (no more than 24 hours before entry) when entering Croatia.
Children under the age of 12 who are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who has proof of vaccination, a negative test result or proof of convalescence do not need to take a test to enter Croatia.
