One Show host Alex Jones hit the water with hilarious results
The One Show Alex Jones and her young family headed to the Cotswolds on Sunday and spent the day trying out a variety of watersports including kayaking, paddle boarding and rafting.

The mum of three shared photos from her day of fun with the caption: “We made the most of the sun and had the best day on the water. We packed a week’s activities into one very fun day! Kids and adults are now exhausted Swipe for the most undignified descent from a kayak ever!!”

The series of photos included a sweet snap of Alex cuddling one of her little ones while wearing a wetsuit, followed by a snap of star paddle boarding on a calm lake. The third photo showed that the whole family also tried their hand at water rafting.

The fourth – and funniest – glimpse of her day was a hilarious video of Alex trying to get out of a kayak, rolling out of her boat onto the wooden platform on the side of the leg, with hilarious consequences.
The family resided on the private Lower Mill Estate near Cirencester and fans loved the setting. One wrote, “Awww looks so luscious Alex,” while another commented, “You look like a pretty little seal walking ashore.”

While in the Cotswolds, Alex’s mum joined for fun and the presenter shared pictures of her mum accompanying Alex and her husband and children on a idyllic bike ride.

Alex and her brood are big fans of the great outdoors. The presenter regularly shares photos of them on weekend hikes in the woods, often with little daughter Annie accompanying them in a sling.
The couple welcomed their baby girl in August 2021 and shared the happy news with fans via an Instagram announcement that read, “We have news… Our beautiful daughter was born safely on Saturday afternoon 08/21/21.”

Alex added: “Tiny but perfectly built, we’re all beyond happy and doting on her, especially Ted and Kit. Seeing her with her brand new little sister is just the best and we can’t believe how lucky we are to have the 3 of them and be a family of 5.”
